The DS1000 MTE is a direct replacement for 9 track magnetic tape and DAT drives with industry standard Pertec and SCSI interfaces. Data is transmitted over standard IP network from DS1000 to remote platforms or it can be written to CD/DVD. No need to transfer bulky, expensive and unreliable tapes.
