Telegence Corporation provides DS2000 systems to Globe Telecom Philippines

Globe Telecom in the Philippines needed a comprehensive method to collect CDRs from the telecom switch along with a method to back up the switch  generic, configuration and provisioning data. Globe choose the Telegence solution because the Telegence DS2000 system is a truly bi-directional Magnetic Tape Emulator with all of the data processing capability to meet the BSS data needs. The installed systems allows Globe to backup the  switch and collect CDRs on a daily basis. The switch backup files are stored on the DS2000 for use anytime the switch needs to be restarted and have the switch Generic and Configuration data restored to the switch.
